Hydra Tool Help Articles

1. Power off device (Cellphone / Mobiles). 
2. Press and Hold Volume Down (-) and power Button together.
3. Wait few seconds until you see FTM at the screen of the device (Cellphone / Mobile).

1. Power off device (Cellphone / Mobile)
2. Run Qualcomm Module.
3. Press and hold volume Up (+)  and Connect USB Cable
4. Now, you see the black screen on your device that asks driver.
5. Install the proper driver and follow the instruction.

Note: (p.s:) You can use "DFU to EDL" Function 

1. Power off device (Cellphone / Mobile)
2. Run Qualcomm Module.
3. Press and hold Volume Down Key (-) and Power key together.
4. You will see FTM Screen on device. For more detail, check "How to Set FTM Mode"
5. Connect USB Data Cable and Install drivers if it's needed.
6. You can take device FTM to ELD from software function, just choosing "Reboot" tab use "FTM to EDL Function"

How to Connect EDL (Emergency Download Mode)?

Whats is the EDL Mode? 

Emergency Download Mode (EDL) is for Connection device to Read & Write Firmware, FRP, Screen Locks, Factory Reset Operations of eMMC and UFS Chips,
QDLoader Mode (EDL) is only available for Qualcomm Snapdragon devices.
Although connecting devices (cellphones) to EDL Mode depends on Brands or Devices (Mobiles) those are available in the market. Still There are few methods to connect device to EDL Mode.

1. Booting Devices (Cellphones) to EDL Mode using "Boot Keys" : 

Most generic Qualcomm devices go to EDL Mode by pressing theirs boot keys. Device must be Power off first,
Press and Hold Vol(+) UP and Vol(-) Down , then, connect USB Cable. Successfully connection ask you device drivers.

2. Boot to EDL Mode by UMF Cable:  

You can buy a unique cable that helps you to take the device into ELD Mode from markets.

3. Booting Devices (Mobiles) using PCB Test point shorting:

Shorting CMD pin on the test points of the device (cellphones) takes the device into EDL mode directly.
Test-points on every brands and model are different. You can find pin-out of test-point under Hydra Tool installation folder of you can google it.

4. Boot EDL by device Mode

Hydra Tool has some functions that makes devices (Cellphones) into ELD mode directly. You can take devices

" FTM to EDL ", " DFU to EDL", " Fastboot to EDL", "ADB to EDL" We hae done this so that you can work faster and easier.

1. Power off device
2. Preses and hold volume (-) down and Power key Press and 
3. You will see Fastboot Mode on screen of device, this is changes on every brand. 

p.s : For most Android smart phones Fastboot operations " Bootloader need be Unlocked! "

1. Power off device
2. Preses and hold volume (-) Down and Power for a couple of seconds
3. You will see Fastboot screen on devices then you can leave keys. 

1. Power off your device
2. Reboot your device to Recovery Mode  
3. Press and Hold Vol (+) Up and Power for a couple seconds
4. You will see this screen and Select 3nd option (Connect with MiAssistant Mode)

Without Root Redmi Series: S2/Y2, Note 7, Note 5 Pro, Note 6 Pro, 7

1. Enable USB Debug (ADB) and Connect USB Cable
2. Run Qualcomm Module, at Reboot Tab Select " [ADB] Enable Diag (Not Rooted) "
3. and Click Buton, Accept from device, It will enable your diag of the device. 
4. Install Drivers if Need, You can find drivers at Hydra Support Area

By Root All Xiaomi Enable Diag

1. Enable USB Debug (ADB) and Connect USB Cable
2. Run Qualcomm Module, at Reboot Tab Select " [ADB] Enable Diag (Rooted) "
3. and Click Buton, Accept from device, It will enable your diag of the device.
4. Install Drivers if Need, You can find drivers at Hydra Support Area

Enable Diag By Dial Codes

1. Go to Diag Screen on device
2. Dial these codes #*#717717#*#* or *#*#13491#*#*

1. Start software (Open software).
2. Insert Data Cable in device (Cellphone / Mobile) Port. Don't insert in Computer port yet.
3. Connect "Test point" with "Ground" (GND) with the help of pin or short it to the ground (GND) according to test-point picture or manual. 
4. Holding test point with ground (GND) with the help of Pin, Insert cable in USB Hub/Port (Computer's Port). 
5. This way, you can do all job yourself like inserting data cable to the compute etc. and you don't need anybody's help or assistance.

How to Enable Diag OnePlus Smart Phones ? 

There is two way of Enable Diag of OnePlus Method : 

1. For Lower than Android 10  Versions Enable , Enable Diag by Dial Code : type *#801# and enable Engineering Mode
2. For Android 10 and above versions, Root your device and From Reboot Box select [ADB] Enable Diag (Rooted) 

1. Before we start operation, We need to Charge the battery more than 30%
2. Put the device into EDL mode either using EDL cable or software or manually. 
3. Install QdLoader driver, you can get it from our Support area at Drivers folder
4. Open Qualcomm Module of HYDRA TOOL, 
5. Untick "Auto"
6. Select Device (Cellphone or mobile) Brand and Model.
7. If you did not see the list of Brand and Model in Hydra Too, then, leave it as "Auto" 
8. Go to "Service" Tab, 
9. Tick "Format / Factory Reset" from drop down list.
10. Tick "Auto Restart right above the EXECUTE button. This makes your device ON after process or action is completed. 
11. Click "Execute" Button,
12. Wait until the operation is completed. Device Will Auto Reboot, if not, press and hold power button for 30 secs.

5. Go to Service Tab, Tick Factory Format Userdata/Factory Reset and Tick Auto Reboot
6. Click Excute and Waiting for your task completed.

7. Go to "Service" Tab,

8. Choose "Format / Factory Reset" from drop down menu.

9. Choose "Auto" FM (Flash Mode)

10. Tick "Auto Restart right above the EXECUTE button. This makes your device ON after process or action is completed.

11. Click "Execute" Button,

12. Wait until the operation is completed.

NOTE:

1. New Xiaomi devices need Authorized Server to do this operation.

1. Charge the battery of your device (Cellphone / Mobile) more than 30%
2. Connect device to Sideload (Mi Assistant Mode) that means: 
   • Power off your device.
   • Reboot your device to Recovery Mode.  
   • Press and Hold Vol (+) Up and Power for a couple seconds.
   • You will see this screen and Select 3nd option (Connect with MiAssistant Mode).
     
3. Now Connect "Usb Cable" between computer and device (Cellphone / Mobile).
4. Run "Qualcomm" module of Hydra Tool.
5.  Now, go to "Service" Tab.
6. Then go to "Universal" Tab.
7.  Now, go to "Format Factory Reset"  drop down menu.
8. Choose "Format Data" from "SIDE LOAD or RECOVERY"
9. Tick "Auto Reboot" to reboot the device after operation is completed.
10. Click "Execute"
11. And Wait until the task is completed.

2. Connect device to EDL Mode, if you dont know how to connect then Check to " Connecttion " Title
3. Install QdLoader driver, you can get it from our Support area at Drivers folder
4. Run Qualcomm Module, Untick Auto, Select Brand and Model
5. Go to Service Tab then to Vivo Tab
6. From Dropdown select Factory Reset and in Flash mode select Safe Format EMMC/UFS or Forced Erase.
7. Tick Auto Restart and Click Excute, Wait for Task completed.

2. Connect device to EDL Mode, if you don't know how to connect then Check to "How to Connect tag"
3. Install QdLoader driver, you can get it from our support area Drivers folder
4. Open Qualcomm Module, Untick Auto, Select Brand and Model
5. Go to Flash Tab, Select Option Select Firmware auto or manual raw selection. 
6. Select rawprogram0.xml and patch0.xml
7. Click Execute, it will start writing firmware, wait for completed.

7. Go to "Flash Tool" Tab,

8. Chose "File Type" from drop down list.

 (You can choose "Auto Scan Raw/Patch XML" OR "Manual Select Raw/Patch XML")  

9. Show "Image Path"  or "RAW XML / Patch XML"

10. Tick "Auto Restart right above the EXECUTE button. This makes your device ON after process or action is completed. 

11. Click "Execute" Button,

12. Wait until the operation is completed.

2. Put the device into EDL mode either using EDL cable or software or manually. 

3. Install QdLoader driver, you can get it from our Support area at Drivers folder

4. Open Qualcomm Module of HYDRA TOOL, 

5. Untick "Auto"

6. Select Device (Cellphone or mobile) Brand and Model.

8. Select the firmware by choosing "File Type" and "Image Path" by selecting specific folder or choose manually.

9. Click  "Execute"

Note:

1. New Xiaomi Device (Mobile / Cellphone) needs Authorized server to flash the devices. 

2. Check for support for specific file or flash file or just request in forum.

For this operation, your device (Cellphone / Mobile)'s Bootloader must be " Unlocked "!!

1. Charge the device (Cellphone / Mobile) more than 30% battery level. 
2. Power off the device.
3. Set device to "Fast-boot" mode with fast-boot cable or software or manually.
4. Run "Qualcomm" Module of Hydra Tool, 
5. From top-right of the Hydra Qualcomm Tool " Change connection as Fastboot Mode "
6. Go to "Flash Tool" Tab
7. Select "File Type" - Auto Raw XML or Manuel Raw XML
8. When you select firmware it will Load partitions
9. Click "Execute"! That's All.

Note: (p.s) : This operation does not work on Bootloader Locked devices. That means devices (Cellphone / mobile) of Bootloader Should be Unlocked, 

1. You need Set device to EDL Mode if you don't know how to set check "How to Connect" title
2. Run Qualcomm Module, Select Brand and Model
3. Go to Service Tab, Tick Factory Reset Protection (FRP)
4. Tick Auto Restart, Click Execute, it will Reset google account of your Xiaomi Device

P.S: Some devices need Authorized Server. 

1. Before we start operation, We need to Charge the battery more than 30%

2. Put the device into Fast Boot mode either using Fast Booting cable or software or manually. 

3. Install Fast Boot driver, you can get it from our Support area at Drivers folder

4. Open "Qualcomm Module" of HYDRA TOOL, 

5. Untick "Auto"

6. Select Device (Cellphone or mobile) Brand and Model.

(If you did not see the list of Brand and Model in Hydra Too, then, leave it as "Auto" )

7. Go to "Service" Tab, 

8. Then to go "Universal" Tab

9. Tick "Factory Reset Protection" (FRP) from drop down list.

10. Choose "Fast Boot Mode" FB (Fast Boot)

11. Choose "Remove FRP (Erase Method)" from Fast Boot Mode.

12. Tick "Auto Restart right above the EXECUTE button. This makes your device ON after process or action is completed.

13. Click "Execute" Button,

14. Wait until the operation is completed.

6. Go to Service Tab, Tick Factory Reset Protection (FRP)
7. From top right of the exe Untick Auto port and Select ZTE Dignostic Comport
8. Click Excute and Waiting for task completed.

11. Tick "Auto Restart right above the EXECUTE button.  
12.  Click "Execute" Button and Wait for All Partitions Reading.

3. (Note: If device needs ADB mode, then, you need to root the device for or TWARP.)
4. Install QdLoader driver, you can get it from our Support area at Drivers folder
5. Open Qualcomm Module of HYDRA TOOL, 
6. Untick "Auto"
7. Select Device (Cellphone or mobile) Brand and Model.
8. If you did not see the list of Brand and Model in Hydra Too, then, leave it as "Auto" 
9. Go to "Service" Tab, 
10. Tick "Partitions" from drop down list.
11. Choose "wipe Security" ROOTED "Wipe security" TWARP from ADB Mode
12. Tick "Auto Restart right above the EXECUTE button. This makes your device ON after process or action is completed.
13. Click "Execute" Button,

2. Set Device to TWRP mode (Custom Recovery Mode)
3. Connect USB cable computer to Device (Cellphone /Mobile).
4. Run Qualcomm Module of Hydra Tool.
5. Go to "Service" Tab, 
6. Choose "Partitions"
7. choose "Wipe Security by TWRP" from "ADB Mode"  
8. Tick "Auto Reboot" and Click on "Execute" button.
9. Wait until the operation is completed.

NOTE:

1. Please take backup before you start to do any operation like wipe, otherwise, it may damage device (cellphone / Mobile)'s network.
2. Your device (Cellphone) must be rooted with TWRP before you start the operation.

10. Choose "Erase Security" from Flash Mode (FM) (Note: Since EDL mode is flash mode, we choose Flash Mode.)
11. Tick "Auto Restart right above the EXECUTE button. This makes your device ON after process or action is completed.
12. Click "Execute" Button,
13. Wait until the operation is completed.

NOTE:

1. Some New Xiaomi Devices Need Authorized Server

 8. After reboot Set device to FTM Mode, if you dont know how to connect then Check to "How to Connect " title  

 9. Install FTM  Driver, (Drivers are Available At Support Area)

 10. From top Right of the Exe " Select Connection as Diag Mode "

 11. Goto Repair Calbiration Tab, Then Go to IMEI/ESN/MEID Tab

 12. From top right of the exe Untick Auto select ZTE Dignostic Port,  Fill The IMEI box

 13. Enable IMEI Repair Option, Then Click to Repair IMEI [Diag] Buton. 

All Models are Not supported!! 

Please check from here Supported Models and Functions before process

Your device shold be Rooted for Enable Diag!

1. Enable ADB [Usb Debug] and Connect Usb Cable
2. Run Qulacomm Module, From Reboot Box select [ADB] Enable Diag (Rooted)
3. When you Enable diag Install Drivers of Diag Port (Drivers available at Support Area)
4. Go to Repair/Calbiration -> IMEI Repair Tab, 
5. From Method box select Write IMEI Method
6. Enable IMEI Option, Fill the IMEI Box
7. Untick Auto Port, Select Diag ComPort, Click Repair IMEI [Diag] Buton. 

P.S : This Method for Generic Qualcomm Models, May not work on All Qualcomm Brands

P.S : Your device should be TWRP Installed and Rooted for this operation. 

1. Enable ADB (Usb debug) Only and Connect usb Cable. 
2. Run Qualcomm Module and Enable Diag Port. 
3. Go to Service / Repair Calbration Tab.
4. Enable IMEI Option, In methods from drop down select Xiaomi RSA [ADB]
5. Click Repair IMEI buton, Wait for task completed. 

1. Power On device
2. Run Qualcomm Module, From top Right of the exe Select Connection: Diag Mode 
3. Go to Service,  Repair/Calibration, IMEI/ESN/MEID Tab  
4. Enable IMEI options, Select Method 1, Fill imei box
5. Go to Diag screen of the device, Dial #*20081111# and Connect USB Cable
6. Install Diag Drivers if need, Drivers available at Support Access 
7. From Top right untick Auto Port and Select Diag Port 
8. Click Repair IMEI [Diag] button and Wait for the task completed. 

1. Power off your device, and charge the battery more than %30 
2. Press and hold Volume Up (+) and Connect Usb Cable
3. Wait Few secs, Device will gonna to Test Mode 
4. Install Diag Port Drivers 
5. Go to Hydra Qualcomm Module, Go to Repair / Calbiration tab
6. Go to IMEI/ESN/MEID Tab, Fill IMEI boxes, and Click Repair IMEI [Diag] Buton 

1. Charge the battery of your device (Cellphone / Mobile) more than 30%.
2. Connect device to EDL Mode using EDL cable or Software or manually.
3. Connect the device to the compute with the help of data cable.
4. Install QdLoader driver, (Note: you can get it from our Support area at "Drivers" folder)
5. Run "Qualcomm" Module of Hydra Tool, 
6. Untick "Auto",
7. Select Brand and Model of the device (Cellphone / Mobile) listed there. If your device is not there, then, choose "Auto" Brand and Module.
8. Go to "Service" Tab 
9. And then to go "Xiaomi" Tab
10. Choose "Bootloader" from drop down list.
11. Select "Unlock - BL File"  on Flash Mode menu and Select Model under Unlock Bootloader File.
12. Tick "Auto Reboot" (You can find this just above "Execute" Button)
13. Click "Execute"
14. Wait until the task is completed.

Note:

1. Redmi 7 and Redmi Y3 Need Authorized Server!

2. This Function not work other xiaomi models!!

 (Note: If you did not see the list of Brand and Model in Hydra Too, then, leave it as "Auto" )

7. Go to "Service" Tab,

8. Tick "Screen Lock Security" from drop down menu.

9. Select Appropiate method  from FM (Flash Mode)

  (Note: Read Pattern for UnEncrypted Userdata Android 5.1.1 and lower. It disable the "Screen Locks" from the software that was     Encrypted Userdata) 

12. Tick "Auto Reboot" to reboot the device after operation is successfully completed.

13.Click "Execute"

14. Wait until the operation is completed.

2. Put the device into EDL mode either using EDL cable or software or manually.
3. Install QdLoader driver, you can get it from our Support area at Drivers folder
4. Open Qualcomm Module of HYDRA TOOL.
5.  Untick "Auto"
6. Select Device (Cellphone or mobile) Brand and Model. (Note: If you did not see the list of Brand and Model in Hydra Too, then, leave it as "Auto")
7. Go to "Service" Tab.
8. Go to "Universal" Tab.
9. Tick "Screen Lock" from drop down menu.
10. Choose "Read Pattern" for UnEncrypted Userdata Android 5.1.1 and lower or Choose "Disable Screen Locks app" for Encrypted User data from FLASH MODE (FM)
11. Tick "Auto Reboot" to reboot the device after operation is successfully completed.
12. Click "Execute"
13.  Wait until the operation is completed.

          2. And you may need restore screen lock app after disable it.

2. Go to Dial Screen. Dial *#558#
3. Go to Verification Test -> Debug Port

8. Go to "service" Tab
9. choose "calibration" from drop down menu
10. Then, Choose "Remove Demo"
11. Click on "Executive" Button.
12. Wait until the process is completed.
